Web Design and Application Development

High quality, professional website design and coding, for business and personal sites. I can create a website from an existing design or corporate identity, or build a design from scratch to match your specification. All my websites are built using the latest web standards and can either be static with fixed content, or include a content management system, allowing you to update your pages as often as you wish through an easy to use, web based interface.

If you have an existing website I can undertake custom programming projects to add new functionality and bring your old site up to date.

Key Development Skills

I have extensive experience using CakePHP to develop complex web applications and management systems. I have been using the CakePHP framework across many projects for the past 12 years.

I have developed bespoke websites with integrated content systems, as well as using established content management systems such as WordPress and CMSMS (among others).

If you are looking for cross platform application development, I am also an experienced Xojo / RealBASIC developer, having created many applications for both Windows and MacOS, as well as mobile applications for iOS.

Video Directing and Programme Making

I offer a full programme making service, organising all aspects of the production. From initial brief, planning and scripting through to shooting, editing and final delivery. Having worked within the industry for many years I am in contact with highly experienced camera and sound crews, ensuring that your corporate video is of the highest possible quality.

For smaller projects I am experienced in the operation of camera and sound equipment and can still offer a professional service for those on a smaller budget.

Video Editing

I am available for Television and Corporate editing work, either using an in-house edit suite or my own Final Cut Pro system. I can edit existing footage from most sources and can supply a master in the format of your choosing.

In 2000 I was awarded the Royal Television Society Award Best Newcomer for the editing of ‘School’, a six part documentary series for Carlton TV.

Multimedia and Cross Platform Projects

Perhaps some of the most rewarding projects I have been involved in are those that use aspects from all media disciplines to create multimedia, cross platform projects. I am always interested in discussing new ideas for this kind of project.
